Students will name items within a specific category. This activity can be used with a variety of students and grade levels.
This activity includes: A colorful train, A colorless train, 48 category cards, and 8 wild cards.
Preparing:
Print and laminate all cards. Make as many copies as needed of the colored and colorless trains.
How to play:
Students take turns choosing cards and name items in the chosen category. Specify the number of items that need to be named within a category according to grade level. When items are correctly named, the student earns a colored train piece. The first student to earn all colored train pieces is the winner! Watch out for wild cards!
